By scanning it at a pass reader the first time you use it.  The pass is valid for 48 consecutive hours or 5 consecutive days.  For a 48 hour pass, if you scan it for the first time at 2 PM on Friday, it will be valid until 1.59 PM on Sunday. For the 5 days pass, the validity is by day and not by hour.

2/ Is my Euskal Pass restricted to a named user?
No, you can buy it and give it to someone else.  However, you are required to buy a pass per person. In this instance, only the person paying will be known by means of the information collected on purchase.

3/ Do I need to reserve some visits and tours?
Yes, as soon as you arrive, the towns and villages tours and others sites, need to be reserved with the service provider in question on presentation of your Euskal Pass.

4/ Can I choose from several towns and villages tours?
Yes, we offer audioguided tours in different towns and villages with 10% discount ; except Saint-Jean-de-Luz and Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port audioguided tours, they are included in the pass. Refer to the programme in our brochure.

5/ It is possible to visit the same site several times?
No, you can only access each site once.

6/ My trip has been cancelled. Can I get a refund?
No, you can keep your pass and use it on another occasion before the end of the year or you can give it to someone else to use.

7/ If my Euskal Pass is lost or stolen, can I get another?
No, the pass cannot be replaced or reimbursed. In the event of a problem on a third-party site (exceptional closure...), the Office de Tourisme Pays Basque cannot be held responsible.

8/ We are travelling as a group, can we benefit from EuskalPass advantages?
No, the pass is restricted to individuals. EuskalPass is not suitable for groups. The Office de Tourisme Pays Basque has a department dedicated to group travel and visits and they will be delighted to create a bespoke programme that reflects your requirements (groupes@otpaysbasque.com).
